Frequently asked questions
FAQ or Frequently Asked Questions, is an acronym commonly used in software user interfaces.
The straight forward method is to register from the link on the login panel, activate your account from the automatically generated email, and have at it. Unfortunately, due to the high levels of splogging and spamming that has become so common, the best approach would be to contact me directly through the contact link at the bottom left-hand corner of the page so that I can work with you to get set up. That would eliminate any insincere requests.
There are multiple ways to do just about everything you can conceive of to the data on this site. Firstly, only registered contributors are able to edit anything at all on the site, and to register, simply fill in the input fields from the register panel accessed from the register link in the login panel. If you don't have authorization or if you're not comfortable proceeding, contact me through the site messaging function or via email link in the bottom left corner of the main page or your "my page",
Good question! The webtrees open source software currently has no feed functionality and doesn't seem have it in the road map - at least in the near future.
Currently, you can setup a news or html block for that purpose. Also, as WordPress becomes increasingly popular as a blogging platform as well as a complete content management system (CMS), an interface built into webtrees core is on the roadmap for future releases.
